Where: Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes

Itinerary:

2 days spent in Kathmandu before the start of the trek.

 

Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2610 meters) – trekking around 5 hrs.

 

Day 2: Trek from Phakding to Namche (2835 meters) – trekking around 7 hrs.

 

Day 3: Rest day in Namche hiking day.

 

Day 4: Trek from Namche to Thame (3800 meters) – trekking around 6 hrs.

 

Day 5: Trek from Thame to Lumde, (4380 meters) – trekking around 5 hrs.

 

Day 6: acclimatisation day and hiking day in Lumde.

 

Day 7: Today we do the first pass Renjo La pass (5340 meters) and overnight in Gokyo (4790 meters) – trekking 8hrs.

 

Day 8: Hike to Gokyo-Ri (5360 meters) and come back Gokyo Hiking 5hrs going and coming.

 

Day 9: Trek to Gokyo to Drangnag (4700 meters) – trekking 6 hrs.

 

Day 10: Today we pass the second pass Cho-La-Pass (5330 meters) and rest in Zonglha (4830 meters) – trekking 9hrs.

 

Day 11: Trek from Zonglha to Lobuche (4910 meters) – trekking 5 hrs.

 

Day 12: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5140 meters) and hiking to Everest base camp and come back to Gorakshep. – all together 8 hrs.

 

Day 13: Trek from Gorakshep to Kalapathaar (5550 meters) and back to Lobuche – all together 8 hrs.

 

Day 14: Today we pass the last one pass Kongma-La-Pass (5535 meters) and overnight in Dingboche (4410 meters) – all together around 9 hrs.

 

Day 15: Trek back from Dingboche to Tengboche (3860 meters) – around 6 hrs.

 

Day 16: Trek back from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar – around 7 hrs.

 

Day 17: Trek back from Namche to Lukla – around 6 hrs.

 

Day 18: Fly back from Lukal to Kathmandu

 

Contingency 30-day tourist visa allows for delayed flights out of Lukla – we may have to spend a number of days in Lukla waiting to fly out.

 

Fly home Day 30 – gives 7 to 10 days in Nepal post trek

Crossing three spectacular high passes between 5330 meters and 5535 meters make this trek challenging and rewarding. The Everest region is certainly the world’s finest high mountain zone, magnificent landscape, imposing and prestigious peaks, tapering ridges and colourful villages contribute to turning this trek into an unforgettable experience.

 

The route takes you through the high Khumbu mountains Sherpa country before arriving at the foot of Everest, this trek offers many stunning views and a great experience; undoubtedly you will be left with memories to cherish for the rest your life.

The price per person is £1555, it includes:
