Outline itinerary :
Day 1 Flight from UK to Marrakech
Transfer to M'hamid - a town on the edge of the Sahara desert. Overnight in permanent desert camp.

Day 2 Desert trekking (6 hours trekking)
Overnight in desert camp

Day 3 Desert trekking (6 hours trekking)
​
Day 4 Desert trekking (6 hours trekking)
​
Day 5 Desert trekking (6 hours trekking)
​
Day 6 Desert trekking - return to M'hamid. (6 hours trekking)
​
Day 7 Return transfer to Marrakech. Overnight in comfortable Riad in the medina.

Day 8 Free day to explore Marrakech
​
Day 9 Return travel to UK.

N.B. This itinerary may be subject to change depending on local desert weather condition and the needs of the group.

Trek
This is an 9 night trip which includes 5 consecutive days trekking in the Sahara Desert. The trek offers the opportunity to ascend the 'big dunes' and witness the sunrise over the Sahara.
The cost of this trek is approximately £520, PLUS your flights and travel insurance. Included in this cost are: transfers in Morocco; all accommodation; all food whilst trekking; all breakfasts; local guides, chef, and camels whilst trekking; a donation of £20 to l’Hopital Espoir-marrakech—our chosen charity in Marrakech which cares for abandoned and orphaned babies.
You can choose your own charity to raise money for if you want to.
